After Skip Braver bought Cigarette Racing Team, the savvy marketer knew he needed someone to help spread the word of his vision for the icon of powerboats. Though PR is not "all fun and games" it certainly is when working with a family fun sport like Waboba, short for Water Bouncing Ball. The game/sport/toy was invented in Sweden, then spread across the globe, and PR Power was approached to handle the PR. Assisting in marketing, team sponsorships and promotions and spreading the word about the new game hitting beaches, pools and lakes around the country, PR Power also brought Waboba to the New York City studios of The Today Show, where it was noted as one of the top new toys and games by "Today's Mom," boosting sales around the world.

As the innovative line of toys and games expanded, so did publicity which extended from trade publications to ABC Evening News, Live! With Regis and Kelly and Good Morning America. Successfully promoting—and playing Waboba has been great fun for PR Power!

Waboba has a very targeted audience, but PR Power also helped us expand our reach and use our assorted range of fun products to reach out to families, kids, fitness buffs and all sorts of watersports fans.
